Lifecycle

WJCC wants to know what is happening in our members’ lives and how we can support and celebrate with you. We are committed to providing pastoral guidance and support through the joys and struggles of life’s journey.

  • The joy of a new baby in the family is heightened by the Jewish naming ceremony offered by Congregation Beth Hillel.

  • It is important to note that everyone can expect a wedding ceremony of their choice performed by our Religious leader. We offer traditional, interfaith and same sex wedding ceremonies.

  • During this time of grief and mourning, you will be surrounded and supported by the community and the traditions of the Jewish faith.

  • The community joins together in joyously celebrating each child as they become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Cantor Nava Herzog will prepare each student to chant Torah and Haftarah as they lead services for both Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat morning.

  • Interested in Adult Bat or Bar Mitzvah? It’s never too late!  If this is something you’ve always wanted but did not have, our Religious Leader, Nava Herzog, will take you on this meaningful journey.  You will learn to read Hebrew prayers, chant your Torah portion and lead a service before your family and  the community.
