James Ollie Park in Walden

The Walden Jewish Community Center will be hosting a KLEZMER MUSIC AND DANCE event, co-sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Orange County.  There will be a klezmer dance workshop led by Judy Sweet followed by a concert featuring the band Madarka.  Klezmer is an instrumental musical tradition of the Ashkenazi Jews of Central and Eastern Europe.  The essential elements of the tradition include dance tunes, ritual melodies and virtuosic improvisations.

A suggested donation of $10 per adult will assist with the presentation of this event. 
Teens and children are free.
